The Roman Town of August Raurica
Besides imposing ruins, countless finds in the museum, such as the Silver Treasure and the «Casa Romana» bear witness to the formerly bustling life of the Roman town.
Approximately 10 km from Basel, it can easily be reached by local train, bus No. 70, by boat or by car.
